There's always somewhere to walk
Getting away for a summer holiday can mean lots of relaxation on a beach or beside a pool. But most walkers relax by walking, not lying around! Most popular holiday resorts have some good walking country on the doorstep. Although the heat may be a bit much for a long hike, you can still enjoy an easy walk before breakfast or in the cool of the evening. It can add a lot to your holiday experience.
Walking Stories can help you to find some of these delightful walks, and we'd like to read about your own suggestions.
If you've enjoyed a recent walk somewhere different (or in a favourite place), why not tell others about it on Walking Stories? Even if you're on the other side of the world, enjoying summer walks!
