To kick this section off, a page has been launched to cover Walking Events - the first of these is Cowalfest, a Walking and Arts Festival in Argyll, Scotland, taking place from 7-16 October 2005.
And we've started to highlight some exciting walking holidays that may interest walkingstories users.
A more detailed page of links to Scottish walking sites has just been added (January 2006).
Some other pages include links to stories published elsewhere, particularly in the Guardian and the New York Times.
