The photos used on the pages of Walking Stories have been provided by the members concerned, to accompany their walks. Normally the copyright for use of these photos has been shared with Walking Stories. This enables others to purchase the right to reuse the photos for personal or commercial use.
To ensure that users can open pages fairly quickly, we have reduced the file size of the photos. This means they will not enlarge to an acceptable quality. However, we can normally supply high resolution versions, either as prints or as digital files.
You may want to down load a favourite photo as a screensaver, or purchase a set of them for a present (e.g. place mats) or even an original calendar. Mouse-mats and mugs could also be popular. Administrators of other websites may want to make use of some of the images.
E-mail email@example.com with your requirements, specifying the page concerned and the caption of the photograph. We will then quote you a price. If there is a strong demand, we are likely to negotiate with a photographic supplier to provide this service.
Reproduction costs will vary according to the nature of the publication, print run etc. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements, specifying the page concerned and the caption of the photograph. We will then quote you a price. We expect that businesses close to some of the walks may wish to use photographs in their own publicity material.
