Summary
An interesting walk up through villages, over narrow and slippery paths, and down over rice terraces, with many beautiful and interesting views along the way.
- Best bit – saying hello to all the friendly village people who we saw along the way
- Worst bit – falling over and cutting my hand
- Funniest bit – slipping and falling into a flooded rice field
- Word of warning – the Mediterranean-looking orchard would probably be impossible to climb in the summer when it’s wet and even more slippery
- Scary bits – Narrow slippery paths with steep drops
- I didn’t expect to see a little man driving a horse and cart looking like he didn’t belong in the 21st Century
