This section of the site brings together additional general advice and information for walkers.  You will find:

• a growing list of useful links
• guidance on countryside access in Scotland
• advice on safety for walkers.

In due course we hope to negotiate deals with suppliers of a range of services for walkers. These could include:

• walking holidays and holiday accommodation
• travel services, e.g. air flights, rail services etc
• maps and guides for walkers
• walking equipment
• other merchandise including some branded by Walking Stories itself.

It would be helpful to receive suggestions from users of the site as to the kind of services you would like to see, and any companies you would recommend.
