City Walks and One Step Beyond

Cities are popular places to visit around the world, and usually the best way to explore them is on foot. But if you are new to a city - on holiday or on business - how do you know which are the best parts to visit? You can ask a friend who's been before - and Walking Stories can put you in touch with a growing community of people, some of whom may be able to help.

You can read walking stories for several cities in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima). There's a collection of walks around Tromso, north of the Arctic Circle, and a link to a story about a district of Paris.

Elsewhere in Europe, there are stories from Brussels, the Swedish cities of  Gothenburg and Gävle, Krakow in Poland and Prague in the Czech Republic.
