The world's biggest continent, Asia also has the greatest mountain range in the Himalayas, and the highest peak, Everest.

Stretching from the Pacific coast to the Ural Mountains, and the Arctic to Sri Lanka, it is a continent of enormous scenic and cultural variety. The opportunities for hiking are unlimited.

The idea of Walking Stories emerged amidst the volcanic mountains of Japan, and there are 14 varied Japanese walks to read about. There are various walks from China, and some photos from the Indian Himalayas at Ladakh.

We hope to receive many more fascinating stories from Asian countries in the near future!
