Newquay to Crantock, Cornwall, England
Myself and my girlfriend Alison's family and friends went for a relaxing coastal walk from our hotel on Pentire, Newquay, overlooking Fistral Beach, to the untouched village of Crantock.
The walk took us through a quiet residential area to the fern pit cafe which is situated at the top of the meandering and view-filled pathway down the cliffside to the ferry crossing. As it was low tide, we walked over the quaint bridge to cross the Gannel then strolled into the village centre for a cup of tea and a browse at the unique craft shops. Finally we walked back out of the village and along the coastal path on west pentire for a spot of lunch at the impressive Bowgie Inn.
