Bradda Head coastal walk from Port Erin
Port Erin is a small resort situated in a sheltered bay almost in the south-west corner of the Isle of Man. From here there are two excellent coastal walks, going around either side of the bay, which we enjoyed on successive days in July 2005. This walk follows a long-established (and safe) path along the side of the cliffs then up a grassy track before a final climb up to the memorial on Bradda Head. From here the views back to Port Erin and along to the Calf of Man are splendid.
- The best bit was that panoramic view - a classic scene
- We were lucky to have such splendid weather, clear and not too hot
- The walk could be extended further along the coast - or combined with the walk to the Calf of Man
